Meet the team
Theodora Koromila, PhD
Dr. Koromila received her Ph.D. in Human Genetics at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in Greece. For her Postdoctoral training, Theodora joined Caltech, CA, USA and studied Gene Regulation Dynamics during Embryonic Development.
RESEARCH INTERESTS: The Koromila lab combines classic genetics with genomics and quantitative live imaging to study how changes in gene expression can drive cell identity over time.
Kelli Fenelon, PhD
Kelli received his PhD in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto where he developed transgenic tension biosensors in mice to study nuclear forces in development. He is building a career studying chromatin architecture and nuclear mechanics in the context of developmental biology.
Anupama received her M. Tech degree in Biotechnology in 2020. She has been awarded with a silver medal and tuition scholarship for academic excellence by the Biotechnology department, Amity University, India. Also, she is an artist and loves to spend her free time sketching and painting.
Devmika Wickramasinghe Arachchi, Rotation Student
Devmika did her undergraduate studies in Veterinary Science in Sri Lanka. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Quantitative Biology at UTA
Brijesh received his B.Sc. in Microbiology from Tribhuwan University of Nepal and continued his M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences at HNB Garhwal University, India. He has several years of lab experience and he is interested in pursuing a PhD in the future.
